Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Bloemhoek website and the purchase of our flower products and services. By placing an order or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Us

Bloemhoek operates a flower shop at Witte de Withstraat 41, 3012 BL Rotterdam, Netherlands. Contact: [email protected], +31 10 414 2290.

2. Services

We offer counter bouquets, wrapped stems, weekly stem subscriptions, and event bunches. All products use seasonal flowers subject to availability. We reserve the right to substitute stems of equal or greater value when specific varieties are unavailable.

3. Orders and Payment

• Prices are listed in euros (€) and include Dutch VAT (BTW) where applicable
• Counter orders are paid at the time of purchase
• Subscription payments are charged weekly in advance
• Event bookings require a 50% deposit upon confirmation; the balance is due on the event date
• We accept iDEAL, credit/debit cards, and contactless payments

4. Delivery and Pickup

• Counter pickup is available during opening hours without appointment
• Delivery is available within our standard Rotterdam zone for eligible subscriptions and event packages
• Delivery times are estimates; we are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control
• Recipient must be available to receive delivery, or a safe drop-off location must be agreed in advance

5. Subscriptions

• Subscriptions renew weekly until paused or cancelled
• Pause or cancellation requires 48 hours notice before the next scheduled bundle
• No refunds for bundles already assembled or delivered
• We may adjust subscription pricing with 30 days written notice

6. Events

• Event bookings are confirmed upon receipt of deposit
• Cancellation more than 14 days before the event: deposit refunded minus €28 administration fee
• Cancellation within 14 days: deposit is non-refundable
• Changes to event scope may affect pricing and require re-confirmation

7. Product Quality

We guarantee fresh, quality stems at the time of purchase or delivery. Flower longevity depends on care and environmental conditions. Care instructions are provided with every order. Claims regarding quality must be reported within 24 hours of receipt with photographic evidence.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and design — is owned by Bloemhoek and protected by copyright law. Reproduction without written permission is prohibited.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Dutch law, Bloemhoek shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant order.

10. Privacy

Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable GDPR requirements.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in Rotterdam, unless mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. The current version is always available on this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
